The remarkable adobe tasting room in downtown Sonoma (city, not county) is home to Three Sticks Wines, which offers a bevy of tasting options, from focused wine flights to food pairings and beyond. Oenophiles can even experience a blind tasting challenge with friends! Also notable is Three Sticks’ 2018 Durrell Vineyard Chardonnay, which received a 97-point rating from Wine Enthusiast and is described by the team as “a ray of sunshine in your glass.” Additionally, visitors should be sure to taste the Casteñada Rosé made in the French Saignée tradition and notable for its watermelon Jolly Rancher hue.
For an extra special occasion, stay at MacArthur Place, where guests can access complimentary e-bikes to make their way to the tasting room in downtown Sonoma, just half a mile from the historic ranch property. Looking for a more wallet-friendly choice? Try the boutique Sonoma Creek Inn.
