Our Adobe home is the heart and soul of our organization—a place where we can truly share the joy of table fellowship with guests from around the globe. Shannon joined the Three Sticks team in 2020, bringing her diverse background in culinary arts and education, which made her the perfect manager of our historic Adobe.
Originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, Shannon’s love for food and hosting inspired her to pursue culinary school and launch her own catering business. During her studies, she discovered a passion for wine—especially food and wine pairings—which eventually led her to teach and oversee these very subjects as an educator. Her love for wine and a desire for sunshine brought her to Sonoma County in 2019, where she continues to combine her talents with her love of creating memorable experiences.
“My favorite part of the job is meeting and chatting with our guests. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing a delighted guest!” she shares. “Sometimes they even ask if they can help clean up, which always makes me laugh—it’s such a wonderful sign that they feel like they’ve just left my home.” That’s when she knows they’ve truly achieved that sense of table fellowship.
