The 2016 Spring Release is well underway, and we had a chat with our vibrant and fabulous GM Prema Behan about the new wines. She raved about the 2014 One Sky Chardonnay new release. Here it is ... in her words:

"The 2014 One Sky Chardonnay is bright expressive and fresh, fresh, fresh! Since its debut in 2012, the One Sky has been one of my very favorite wines in the Three Sticks portfolio. The Sonoma Mountain AVA is cool in the morning with bright warm sunny afternoons. This, coupled with the elevation, ensure an expression of California chardonnay that is alive and bright like sunshine in a glass. She is golden and succulent like a juicy white peach and perfect fresh Fuji apple.

"I brought the bottle home after a BIG day at the Adobe and knew that it would pair perfectly with the beautiful dinner that my husband was preparing.

"With the salmon dish both the food and the wine were totally elevated.

"I was nervous about the vinegar in the fresh tomato dressing but the rich oily fish and sweet corn balanced it all out perfectly.

"We love the Stone Edge Farm Cookbook because it uses ingredients that are gorgeous and grown at their beautiful winery garden in Sonoma. Being that it has been designed by a chef who is an expert in Sonoma wines and ingredients we always have great luck with it. John McReynolds is one of Sonoma’s most talented chefs and this recipe is phenomenal!"
