“The 2023 Three Sticks Gap’s Crown Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast shimmers with a deep ruby core and a vivid pink halo. Aged in 45% new French oak and incorporating 16% whole cluster, it immediately reveals its finesse and intricacy. The nose opens with wild raspberry, muddled blueberry, and hints of orange peel, layered with cracked white pepper, clove oil, and subtle sassafras. The texture is seamless, gliding effortlessly across the palate with lifted acidity, polished tannins, and remarkable clarity. Earth-driven nuances of tea leaf and crushed granite lend added complexity beneath the lush fruit.
