Is there a fee associated with being a Three Sticks wine club member?

There is no joining or cancellation fee. The only costs you will see are your bi-annual spring and fall allocations. We do ask that you take a minimum of two club orders. Your membership will remain active until you cancel.

What are the different membership levels?

Mariposa 5 custom cases a year 24btls in spring & 36btls in fall
El General 24 bottles, twice a year in the spring and fall
El Capitan 12 bottles, twice a year in the spring and fall
Tres Palitos 6 bottles, twice a year in the spring and fall

Is my club customizable?

Each membership is 100% customizable. Selections are based on inventory, and members receive first access to all new wines and notifications before billing to customize their shipment.

When do your wine releases happen?

We release wines twice a year, in Spring and Fall. Wine Club members receive first access to each release, followed by a limited public offering. Spring release typically happens in late January or early February, and Fall release happens in August.

When will I receieve my wine club allocation?

Storing and transporting your wine safely is our top priority. You have two convenient options for receiving your allocation:

Pick Up at the Adobe
Wine is available for pick up at our Sonoma Adobe as soon as your order is billed. We're happy to hold your wine for up to 45 days, after which a $20 storage and handling fee will apply.

Shipping
Complimentary ground shipping* via UPS or FedEx is included for all club members. Shipments are scheduled based on safe weather conditions for each region.

  • Spring shipments go out in early March to all states.
  • Fall shipments are staggered by region: California ships in September, northern states in early October, and southern states in late October or early November.
  • Expedited shipping is always available upon request.

*Complimentary ground shipping is not available for Tres Palitos Members.

What events & experiences do you offer members?

As a valued member of our wine club, you're at the heart of everything we do. Throughout the year, we host a range of exclusive events designed to deepen your connection with our wines, our team, and the places that inspire them.

Members enjoy first access and preferred pricing to signature experiences, including Destination Durell, Cellar Collective, and our seasonal Wine Downs. Each spring and fall, we open the Adobe exclusively for members, where you can pick up your release wines and enjoy a small flight of special pours and a few surprise treats.

For a quieter moment, our Member Lounge offers a private, relaxed space to settle in and enjoy a glass at your own pace.

What is the member lounge?

We invite our members to exclusive access to book an experience in our member lounge. In this intimate and inviting space, guests can indulge in a flight of our current releases and special library wines or enjoy a bottle from our wine list to relax with friends. Guests can also add on culinary options such as artisan cheese plates or delectable savory hand pies made locally by our friends at Sonoma Hand Pies.  This sanctuary becomes a home away from home, where visitors can indulge in the outdoor setting with a dedicated lounge host.

I am local and want to pick up my wines. When and where can I do that?

Twice a year, we celebrate our members with Member Appreciation, closing the Adobe exclusively for you. Reserve a time to join us for a flight of newly released wines, a light bite, and the company of fellow members, all while picking up your allocation in person. If you are unable to attend the member appreciation event, simply reach out by email or phone, and we'll schedule something that works for you. We're happy to hold your wines for up to 45 days, after which they will be shipped to the address on file, and a $20 handling fee will apply

Do I automatically receive wine from your other seasonal releases?

No. Our Casteñada Collection Wines and Pinot Blanc releases are not automatically billed and shipped. As a member, you receive guaranteed first access to these wines before the public.

Can I bring my child or dog?

Unfortunately, due to permitting and the historic nature of the property, we do not allow pets or guests under 21 years old. This includes babies and toddlers.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we can ship internationally. Prices will vary based on the destination, bottle quantity, and possible duty fees that the recipient pays.

Can I gift my member benefits?

Yes! If you cannot visit the Adobe, or if you know a wine-loving friend headed to Sonoma, please contact our concierge team, who will help coordinate.

Do we recieve discounts on wines?

Due to our limited production, we do not discount our wines.

Do all orders ship for free?

Ground shipping is covered for all wine club orders. Mariposa members receive complimentary ground shipping on all orders. Members of the El General membership receive complimentary ground shipping on all orders of 6 bottles or more. During release periods, we offer competitive shipping rates dependent on volume.

What is the largest group you an host for experiences?

The largest group we are able to welcome for a seated, focused tasting is 8. However, we are happy to talk through options for you, so please get in touch with our concierge team for a request for anything larger - concierge@threestickswines.com | 707 996 3328 x105

Are you open for lunch, dinner or picnics?

While outside food and drinks are not permitted, we do offer a seasonal lunch experience at the Adobe. We invite you to explore The Adobe Table, a thoughtfully curated al fresco dining experience available to book alongside your visit.

Can I come in for a tasting without an appointment?

To ensure that you have the best possible experience, our tastings are offered by appointment only. If you are an allocation member, we offer our member lounge for a more informal tasting experience at the Adobe.
