Last Saturday, we opened the doors of The Adobe in Sonoma to members of our mailing list for a spectacular Spring Release Tasting! The response from our mailing list was overwhelming - we had to close the guest list just 72 hours after we sent out the invitation!

The day turned out to be incredibly dramatic. It was an open house format - and we started the day outside, enjoying the gorgeous cloud formations.

The spectacular sky was matched by a line up of incredible Three Sticks wines. Our guests enjoyed the 2012 Durell Vineyard Chardonnay, 2012 Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay, "One Sky", 2012 Durell Vineyard Pinot Noir, 2012 Bien Nacido Vineyard Pinot Noir, 2011 Moon Mountain District Cabernet and our 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet (our first ever Napa Valley 100% Cabernet Release).

Guests were also invited to taste the Adobe-exclusive Casteñada Rosé - a stunning wine that has us all looking forward to warm summer evenings.

When the hail arrived around 2:30pm, we all took shelter inside ... and things got cozy. One enterprising guest chilled down his glass of rose before he headed indoors.

The last hour was intimate and delightful as guests mingled together in the Adobe & the Storehouse, enjoying Nature's display which added a surreal sense of drama to an already fantastic day.

The Three Sticks crew was out in full force to chat, mingle and toast our way through the gathering.
