Bud Break 2019

Slowly but surely Spring is inching its way into the vineyards here in Sonoma! As we anxiously await sunny skies, the vines are waking up with intermittent bud break all over the county. While Rob, our Vineyard Manager, and his team prepare for warmer weather, our production team has been in France for their annual pilgrimage to hand-select the French oak trees for our wine barrels. We’re incredibly lucky – no one knows our wine better than Bob and Ryan, so the opportunity to see, smell and feel the wood makes our wine that much more special and handcrafted.

The rest of the Three Sticks team has been busy preparing for our annual Spring Release Tasting Event at the Adobe. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for good weather, and look forward to seeing our Three Sticks family soon!
